PoulDry

The PoulDry drying tunnel is designed for drying poultry manure. The manure is dried by means of (barn) air that is directed through the tunnel. During this process, ammonia and fine dust are reduced, resulting in a valuable end product.

The PoulDry consists of 2, 4 or 6 tiers and can be built up to a length of 50 metres. Its high industrial quality is clearly visible in the stainless steel perforated plates, which are connected to an industrial transport chain. This chain is driven by motors equipped with a planetary gear transmission.

The product to be dried is evenly distributed on the top tier using a distribution belt. When the product reaches the end of the tunnel, the plates tilt and the material is automatically dropped onto the tier below. The product then moves in the opposite direction and continues to dry further. Air from the poultry house, or heated outside air, is forced through the perforated plates containing the manure by high‑pressure fans.

After the product has been transported across the lowest tier, the dried material is removed from the tunnel by screw conveyors. The dust that accumulates beneath the system is automatically removed by a scraper and discharged together with the dried product.

CONTROL PANEL

The control panel is configured during start‑up and then operates fully automatically. The program can be adjusted for any house or dryer layout. The control panel includes an IXON router, which allows the panel to be connected to the internet via its own network cable. This industrial router provides a secure connection, enabling remote login to the control panel. This results in greater user‑friendliness as well as faster and more targeted service.

RAIL SYSTEM
The planetary gear transmission is directly connected to the shaft and pulls the perforated drying plates forward via an industrial chain. This direct drive, in combination with the forced tilting mechanism, prevents malfunctions and ensures a long service life of the tunnel.
