Manure Drying Project in Belgium for Layers – PoulDry

For a customer in Belgium, our team at VDL Jansen has successfully supervised and carried out the complete on‑site assembly of a 50 meter PoulDry manure drying tunnel. This installation uses the maximum tunnel length available and is equipped with six drying tiers. The system processes manure from a layer house with 190,000 birds.

The PoulDry system dries fresh poultry manure into a stable, dry and low‑emission product. The final result is a hygienic, transport‑friendly material with a significantly reduced moisture content, making it suitable for storage, transport or use as a valuable fertilizer. Its multi‑tier design and controlled airflow ensure efficient drying performance and reliable operation in large scale egg production environments.
